{ Obituary } MRS MICHAEL FITZGERALD DEAD: Mrs. Michael Fitzgerald died at her home near Weller, Ia at 12:30 o'clock Sunday morning after a long illness which she bore with patient resignation. She was tenderly cared for in her last illness by her daughters and friends who done everything in their power to make her comfortable. Ever a most devoted member of the Catholic Church she (?) her last hours and her death was most beautiful. She is survuved by her husband, one son, Edward and five daughters, Mrs Frank Scieszinski, Mrs Wm Sciezinski, of Melrose; Mrs James Kelleher, of Georgetown; Mrs Con O'Brien of Weller and Miss Maggie at home and, one brother, Sylvester Barron, of Souix City, all of whom were with her in her last moments. The funeral was held Monday morning from the late home to St Mary's Church in Weller where Requiem Mass was celebrated by her nephew, Rev Father Barron of Davenport. The funeral sermon was preached by pastor Rev Father Purtell of Lovillia. The pallbearers were her four son-in-laws, Frank and Wm Scieszinski, James Kelleher, Con O'Brien and two nephews, Matt Barron and Thos. Shovlain. Relatives from Melrose who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John Luttrell, Mr. and Mrs. John Ward, Mrs Thomas Fitzgerald, Mrs. J L Dinneen, Mrs. Ray Hannam, And Mr. and Mrs. James Carr.
