    Hannah Avery, daughter of Dr. William and Margaret Avery, was born in Dedham, Mass., Sept. 27, 1660, (per records) married May 22, 1677, on the same day as her sister, Rachel, to Mr. Benjamin Dyar, of Boston. … Her tombstone is the oldest in Dedham cemetery, and is inscribed as follows: "Here lyes ye body of Hannah Dyar wife to Benjamin Dyar of Boston aged 18 years. Died Sept ye 15, 1678."
