Nothing is known of her other than her age (as it appears in the 1850 census) and those facts that can be gleaned from her will, which she wrote in the week before her death. She is certainly the mother of Reason Smith, but may not have been the mother of David Smith's older children, Andrew Smith (born 1814) and Mary Ann Smith (born perhaps 1813?), and certainly not David's other children Sophroner Smith (married Brace) and Phebe Smith.
