Burgoyne Book: Gustaf was a tailor. When the Mormon Elders came teaching a new gospel, Grandmother Marguerite and her father, Gustaf Ahlbom were the first to accept the new teachings. Great Grandmother Ahlbom was very opposed and there was much jangling in the home because of it. Gustaf set sail bor America with the Cederlunds and their three children, Binnie, Johan and Mary. His wife refused to leave and moved to the mainland to live with her son and his family.
