Grover C. Stewart, 78, of Marietta met his heavenly father on November 19, 2019. Grover graduated from Flemington High School in WV and he was a painter. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and a true Mountaineer.
He is survived by son, F. Matthew (Kathy) Stewart, grandchildren: Jake (Ashley) Stewart, Tori (Dan) Stewart and Jenna (Charles) Stewart, step granddaughter Brittani Wright, great grandchildren: Nick, Evy and Calin. He is also survived by his companion of 9 years, Connie Hayes.
He is preceded in death by wife, Darlene Smith Stewart.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 23rd at Sand Hill United Methodist Church, 725 Sandhill Road, Marietta.
