Daily Times-News, The Thursday, January 24, 1974 GRADY McFarland MEBANE, of 301N. Cobb Ave- died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday at pm. He had been in declining health for one year. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Robert and Almenia Clapp MEBANE. and the husband of Mrs.. Evie Fuqua MEBANE, who survives. He was a member of the First Reformed United Church of Christ and was self- employed as a painting and paper contractor. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Mrs.. James Phillips, Burlington, Mrs.. Luther Ross. Rt. 4, Burlington: son. G. Nelson MEBANE, Burlington: and seven grandchildren. Final rites will be 2 p.m. Friday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The Davis, pastor of the First Reformed United Church of Christ, will officiate- Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. The body will remain at Lowe Funeral Home through the service-The family be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9
