Gloria Dawn Boettner

Gloria Dawn Boettner, 91, of New Smyrna Beach, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents and by the love of her life, Burrall, her husband of 64 years with whom she is now enjoying a joyous reunion. Left to treasure her memory are her son, Jeff and his wife Cindy, daughter Kim and her partner Maria Curtin, grandsons Keith and his wife Hannah, Troy and his wife Lydia, granddaughter Brandy and great-granddaughters Lorelei and Lolah Mae. Gloria was born on June 27, 1927, in Mt. Pleasant, PA to Russell and Anna Johnston. She was a registered nurse who worked in hospitals and private offices throughout her career. After moving around throughout Burrall's aerospace career, they settled their family in New Smyrna Beach where Burrall and Gloria worked together managing Sea Coast Gardens II & III for 30 years. Gloria was an avid reader, loved to look for shells on the beach, play Words with Friends, and relax with her family. There will be no funeral service. Her cremation will be handled by Baldwin Brothers and her family will lay her to rest with Burrall at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater, FL.
