Mrs. Gloria M. Anthony, 78, of Station Street, Lehighton, died Saturday, June 16, in her home. She was the wife of Gilbert W. Anthony. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 25, 2011.
Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Lafayette and Beatrice (Brown) Graver.
She was a member of St. Paul Union Church, Big Creek, Franklin Township, and the Big Creek Grange, and was a volunteer at the Towamensing Fire Company.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Gilbert and Gary, both of Lehighton; four daughters, Donna, wife of Ronald Strohl, Connie Moulthrop and Lisa, wife of Tim Seltzer, all of Lehighton, and Brenda, wife of David Berger of Palmerton; two brothers, Richard, and his companion, Theresa, of Lehighton, and Wayne, and his wife, Donna, of Lehighton; two sisters, Monica, wife of Roy Johnson of Lehighton, and Dorothy, wife of Donald Strohl of Palmerton; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lafayette, Raymond and Ronald; and a grandson, Daniel Moulthrop.
Service: All services are private. Arrangements by Mayes-Melber Funeral Home, 200 Franklin St., Weissport.
