Miss Gladys Sonney, 60, of 625 Okanogan Ave., a lifetime Central Washington resident, died in a Wenatchee convalescent center on Tuesday evening following an extended illness. Born in Orondo on Nov. 15, 1913 she attended the Orondo School and was graduated from Waterville High School in 1932. She attended a Wenatchee business college and became a legal secretary. She was employed by the Washington State Patrol in Wenatchee until she retired due to ill health. Miss Sonney was a member of the Orondo Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. C. E. Sonney; Orondo, one brother, H. G. Sonney, Orondo; a sister, Phyllis Fletcher, Ephrata; two nieces and two nephews. Funeral Services are announced by Jones & Jones Funeral Home. all memorials in her name to go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Image Gallery
