Stacy, assistant district attorney... It is charged that on September 30, 1922, she married Walter Peckham at Camden. Some time ago Peckham was convicted of arson at Weedsport and is now serving a 40-year sentence in Dannemora prison. It is alleged that on October 30, 1926, she married Glen Spink. Oswego Palladium-Times, 14 Feb 1928: A BIGAMY CHARGE The court spent some time on the case of Gladys Spink of Altmar, charged with bigamy. The young woman's first husband, named Peckham, is said to be serving 40 years sentence in Auburn. Glenn Spink, the woman's present husband, was called to the stand... said at the time of securing their marriage license she said her former husband was dead. Mrs. Spink said she thought when Peckham was sent to state prison that she had a right to marry again. Spink, 85, of Hogsback Road died Wednesday at House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown. A native of Mexico, Mrs. Spink lived in the Altmar area 70 years. Her husband, Glen E., died in 1967. Mrs. Spink was a former member of the Ricard Grange. Surviving are two sons, Robert J. of Altmar and Richard W. of Pulaski; four daughters, Lillian Hutchinson of Pulaski, Esther Kimpel of North Syracuse, Doris Pike and Retha Spink, both of Altmar; two brothers, Clarence and James Dawley, both of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Beatrice Graff of Covington, La.; 22 grandchildren...Services will be...
