Glada E. "Sue" Gangwer, 86, of Fall Street, Fostoria, died at 4:40 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005, at St. Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria. She was born Dec. 23, 1918, in Bloomdale, to the late Orvil and Orpha (Barringer) King. Her husband, Paul Gangwer, whom she married Oct. 12, 1937, in Bettsville, is deceased. Surviving are: a son, George Gangwer of Fostoria; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Carolyn) Hopkinson of Fostoria; two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Marlene) Sallisbury and Mrs. Harry (Jean) Shaw, both of Fostoria; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A son, Donald Gangwer, a daughter, Marilyn Gangwer, five brothers, and a sister are deceased. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery, near Bloomdale. Visitation will be 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at the funeral home References
