Billy R King, 73, died at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at his ho me at TR 1002, Amsden.

He was born in Bloomdale June 26, 1926, to Orvil and Orpha (Barringer) Kin g. His wife, Bernadine "Marge" (Reeder) King, whom he married May 1, 194 6, in Portland, Ind., survives in Amsden.

Survivors include: two sons, Terry King of Amsden and Jerry King of Risi ng Sun; two daughters, Mrs. Barry (Nancy) Koepfer of Amsden and Mrs. Dan ( Rose Mary) Hale of Mount Victory; three sisters, Glada Gangwer, Marlene Sa llisbury and Jean Shaw, all of Fostoria.

Also preceding him in death were a son, Arnold King; and four brothers, Ro bert, John, Keith and Dean King.

Mr. King, a U.S Navy veteran of World War II, retired from Basic Inc., Map le Grove, in 1973, as a maintenance person, with more than 27 years of ser vice.

He was a member of Amsden United Methodist Church and the Basic Quarter Ce ntury Club.

The Rev. Gary Staats will be the officiant at the 11 a.m. Saturday servi ce in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. Interment will be in Tr inity Cemetery, near Rising Sun.

Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
