    "JUMP, Giles W, Pvt, age 18. Entered service 20 July 1863 for term of three years. Mustered out with company 3 July 1865. This regiment was principally engaged in guarding Rebel prisoners at Camp Chase, Ohio. It was also engaged in the pursuit of the MORGAN Raiders and the suppression of the Holmes County rebellion in July 1863."
