Gibby was once a member of a band called, "The Night Walkers" they achieved a level of success and even cut a demo record. They performed at his youngest brothers' James Peeples 9th birthday party that was held in the back yard of 3139 Keswick Road. They would compete in a Battle of the Bands at the Baltimore City Fair on several different years. There were some trophies handed to him for his bands performance.
