Facts and Events
Address: Address 1: 812 West 36th Street City: Baltimore State: MD Postal code: 21211 Gary was once a member of a rock band called, "The Crystal Snowflakes". Gibby was also a member of it after his first band broke up. They later cut a demo record. While still married to Rona Cross Gary like to play Santa Claus for his young sons, Gary, Jr and Nicky. They were sometimes afraid of him but Rona encouraged them to join in the fun, and after a while they got used to it and enjoyed it. As a young child he once took his mother Mary's Singer Sewing machine apart. She was very angry and upset and spent several minutes crying about it. Finally she calmed down and methodically put the whole thing back together. This was to foreshadow his latent talent for fixing things. Some things James Peeples remembers about his brother Gary: When very young Gary just thought the world of Gibby his older brother. He would follow him all around and hang out the Gibby's older friends who came to call him Little Bear. Gary was always getting into trouble and relying on Gibby to get him out. However, once he was told to take care of it himself. Gibby had just gotten home from work and was eating dinner. Gary came in the door saying someone was trying to make him eat dog doo. Gibby was about to get up when Ma said no that Gibby just sat down to dinner after a long day at work and he was not going to fight for you. He would have to do it himself from now on, and learn to stay out of trouble. Gary resolved the situation without to much trouble, I don't remember if he had to fight or it was otherwise settled. I remember the time that someone was looking to beat up Gary and Ma took me and went out looking for him to warn him. We walked through Wyman Park, even some of the more inaccessible areas. Up hills and down she would call out his name, poking thought buses and asking his friends if they had seen them. They were asked to warn him and send him home. We didn't find him and finally came home. She was very worried about him. Old phone and address: Gary (at Barbara's): 3505 Ash St. Baltimore, MD. Phone: 410-467-7395. References
