Gilbert W 'Gil' Lang

Gilbert W "Gil" Lang, 90, of Fostoria, died Saturday, May 29, 2004, at h is residence.

He was born May 26, 1914, in New Riegel, to the late Anton and Theresa (Fi lliater) Lang. On June 27, 1939, he married Helen I Fleck, in Findlay. S he survives in Fostoria. Also surviving are: a daughter, Janet "Jan" Farrell of Bridgeport, W.Va .; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Alvin La ng of Bascom and Robert Lang and Wilbur Lang, both of Tiffin; and four sis ters, Helen Fleck of FL, Pauline Lang of Marion, Margaret Elchert of New R iegel and Donna Newlove of Fostoria.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Wendelin Cath olic Church, where a Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Burial will be in S t. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoening Funeral Ho me in Fostoria, where a Christian wake will be at 8:30 p.m.
