ARNTZEN, Gerald V., age 66, of 4153 Patos Dr., Ferndale, passed away at home Monday, Jan. 7, (1974). He was a member of the Triumph Lutheran Church of Ferndale, Fidelity Grange No. 206 and the South Bellingham Community Improvement Club. Mr. Arntzen lived in Marysville for 14 years prior to returning to Whatcom County four years ago. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice in January of 1973. He is survived by 1 son, Wendell Arntzen of Ontario, Canada; 1 sister, Mrs. Stanley Williams of Renton, Wn.; 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m. in Veroske's Bellingham Chapel, with the Rev. J. G. Erickson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park.
