Facts and Events
Notes
George Warfield was the grandson of Jemima ( ) Howell, and was named Executor in her will.
Wife of George Warfield
Some researchers have stated that George Warfield's wife was Elizabeth Hott, daughter of Samuel Hott and Barbara Stanholtzer, but marriage records show that their daughter Elizabeth married George's brother, Jesse Warfield. George Warfield was one of the appraisers of Samuel Hott's estate in 1845 in Hampshire County, Virginia, so this appears to support his wife Elizabeth as another likely daughter, until other records indicate otherwise.
