John Sheldon appeared & desired that he might be discharged of his guardianship which he was chosen to by George Sherman and being an orphan to Thomas Sherman of Kingstown late deceased and said orphens desiring that he might be discharged of being their guardian; therefore Town Council doth discharge him of being guardian to the sd George and Benjamin Sherman and the sd George & Benjamin both desired that Lidia Potter their mother might be their guardian and also chose her their guardian which the council allows of.
