Family history says he lived with daughter Vinecie and her husband John Magill. Moved from SC to Madison Co, FL about 1852. In 1861, moved to Union Co, Mississippi. John enlisted in the Confederate army Aug 1, 1862 at Ripley, MS. [Census records show him living with son James’ family, however.]
