Mr. March had not been in good health for more than a year, but was able to attend to his business and had been at his market all day Monday as usual. With Mrs. March they closed the market soon after six o'clock and went to their home where they had supper. They had finished supper and sat down to enjoy a radio program when he was stricken... Mr. March was born in the Town of Albion February 22, 1881, a son of Solomon and Lucinda Carley March. As a young man he worked in the Tollner Box factory. On January 30, 1906 he married Miss Bessie Gay of Pine Meadow, and with his bride went to Michigan where they remained about six months. Returning east they made their home in Altmar for two or three years, then moved to Oregon where he engaged in the grocery business for the next five years. In 1913 they came to Pulaski where he opened a meat-market and grocery store, a business he has operated ever since. Surviving are his wife, one son, Arthur March of Albany; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Parrish of this village and Mrs. Jennie Stokes of Rochester; and one brother, Homer A. March of Bouckville... The funeral will be held at the home... Thursday afternoon with the Rev. W.A. Gardner of the Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Altmar. References
