George P. Lenney Dies; Well Known As Machinist Here
George P. Lenney, 75, 338 Kenilworth SE, died at 8:10 p.m Monday at his home after a year of illness.
Born April 13, 1884, in Warren [Champion], the son of Thomas and Ella Parker Lenney, he was a lifelong resident of Warren, and attended Warren schools.
Mr. Lenney was a self-employed machinist who retired in 1958. he had [at] one time worked for the Trumbull Manufacturing Co. for five years.
He was part owner and secretary and treasurer of the Lenney Machine Co. here for many years.
He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Loretta Wise and Mrs. Ella Waldeck, both of Warren, and Mrs. Lyla Reed and Mrs. Mabel Robinson, both of Youngstown; a brother, E.B. Lenney of Youngstown.
Funeral services will be held at the Hall Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
