RELATIONSHIP: Three sons died "close together" according to "History of the Kroninger Family, p. 3. Ltr Betty Lichty to HRJ 2 Dec 1992 states that the Ziegel's Church record says "epidemic wiped out children of the Kroninger family in a few days"; her letter gives their names and birth and death dates.

BURIAL: Ltr Meyers to HRJ 22 Oct 1993 contains transcript from records of Rev. Johannes Heinrich Helffrich, Burials Sep 1794 - Kroninger's son Leonhard, age 3-5-4, Weisenberg Twp. Sep 1794 - Kroninger's son Georg, age 5-10-1, Weisenberg Twp. Sep 1794 - Kroninger's son Daniel, age 7-5-1-5, Weisenberg Twp.

    Ltr from Robert H. Kroninger to HRJ 5 Sep 1996 explains that although the Ziegel church did not keep burial records, while he was pastor Reverend Helffrich did so from 1790 to 1795 and it was his practice to record the age by year, month, week, and day--four elements.  Thus, for Leonard it was 3 years, 5 months, no weeks and 4 days; for Georg 5 years, 10 months, 1 week and no days; for Daniel it was 7 years, 5 months, 1 week and 5 days.
