From Fred Comer, a descendant

His father's name was George also. He came to America from England with his parents and settled in Stockbridge. His mother, Sophia Bugbee, was a native of Connecticut.

There are some Judsons in the Vermont Cemetery in Washtenaw County, the same cemetery the Barker family used.

He is listed on the 1894 Michigan census of Civil War vets.
