Records received from the Grand Bank Methodist Parish Church indicate that at the time of George's marriage to Frances, he was aged 26 years, a bachelor and a fishermnan. The officiating clergy at the marriage ceremony was Rev. George J. Bond. Present at the event were witnesses, Frederick Forsey and Eleanor Stoodley.

It was told to me by Vera (nee Forsey) that George Forsey died at a young age of TB. His wife did remarry some time later. Not sure of who told me this.
