Notes

Had two sons who died as P.O.W.'s of the British in the Rev. War. Both died of malnutrition. Seven of his sons came to Ky. thru the Cumberland Gap in 1795. One died on the way and was buried on the side of the road. Thomas stayed in Spartanburg. This came from family Bible. (Frank Beard)
