According to David E. Batlow's research, George was buried at Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church Cementery, Dunbar Twp. Fayette Co., PA.

Helen Endecott's great grandfather lived in Fayette Co. Penn for many years. (the address being #1 Leisenring, Dunbar Twp., Fayette Co., PA). ...George, son of Hendrick jr. and brother of Fredrick, owned 175 acres of land originally in Dunbar, Fayette Co. Pa. He sold lots until there remained about 166 acres. (notes from Nita Rich, secretary of Coroner Fayette Co. Pa.) ...The home of George, and wife Amanda Brown still stands today. It is about 175 years old, built of rock. The walls are 18 in. thick. It is about 3 miles from Connelsville. In the backyard is an old spring house. Water trickles into a stone tub that was hollowed out by hand. My father says it remains the same as he remembered it when he was 17 years of age and younger (some 60 years ago), except for walls and woodwork deteriorated some. Dad lived in a small house just south-west a short distance as a boy, though he was born at Leisenriing No. 1. ...It seems that George Barricklow sold land to various people, until his death in Nov. 1887...on Dec. 5, 1881...one acre was sold to his son Abraham and wife Sofia. (Recorded in Deed Book 51, p. 108, at the Fayette Co., Court House Uniontown, Pa.)

Both Amanda and George died at the old stone house. Both are buried at the Laurel Hill Cemetery 6 miles southwest of Connelsville, Pa.
