1935 - Death Certificate: Geoffrey Charles JAMES, engineer's assistant, aged 22 years, born at Riddell, Victoria. Parents named as William Hill JAMES, farmer, and Amy Teresa JAMES formerly GRADY. Died between 6th and 7th March at 16 Bendigo St, Burnley, from chronic nephritis and acute pulmonary oedema. A post mortem examination was made on 7th March and it was ordered the body could be buried without inquest. Geoff had lived all his life in Victoria, married Doreen POYNTON at Fitzroy at the age of 20 years and had one child - Judith, aged 1 year. He was buried at New Cheltenham Cemetery on 8th March.
