On July 14, 1922, the Angel of Death made its way into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Will Frakes and claimed as a victim their darling little daughter and sister, Genevieve.

She was sick only a short while.

The devoted parents and others nursed her patiently and tenderly during her illness, but God saw fit to call little Genevieve home to rest with the others which he had already carried on before.

Her loved ones will greatly miss her for she was worshiped by all the family, yet they know she is at rest, for the Angels came and took little Genevieve to those mansions of the blest.

Weep not dear ones, for, you know that your darling is at rest where she will never know no sorrow or pain.

Little Genevieve was three years of age her birthday in December.

She leaves a father, mother, two sisters, and two brothers to mourn her loss.

The remains were laid silently to rest in the Holly Cemetery at Steele.

Funeral services were conducted by Reverend Cooper of the Christian church.

May our Heavenly Father bless and console the dear sorrowing family together with loved ones who are left behind to mourn and abide until the time of their going to meet her.
