Obituary dated 14 Jan 1964: Mrs. Geneva J. Solomon, 68, a resident of Clever since 1908, died early today at St. John's Hospital in Springfield after a short illness. She was past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star here and a member of the Clever Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Everett, of the home; one son, James Vistor, 2104 South Cedarbrook, Springfield; one brother, Emmitt Gardner, 1220 West State, Springfield; one sister, Ophelia Perkins, 510 East Harrison, Springfield; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Clever Methodist Church. The Rev. Wayne Jones will officiate and burial will be in Frazier Chapel Cemetery. Cantrell is in charge.
