Everett Solomon, 75, of Clever, died about 1 p.m. Sunday in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. A retired garage operator, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lois Hambelton, Clever, and Mrs. Eileen Holmes, 1111 North Rogers, Springfield; one son, James Victor of 2104 South Cedarbrook, Springfield; one brother, Earl of Grand Island, Nebr.; three sisters, Mrs. Lurel Carr, 2550 Lincoln, Springfield, Mrs. Margie Hunter, Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Clarice Williams, 2129 East Elm, Springfield; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Solomon was a member of Billings Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, Clever Lions Club and Clever Baptist Church. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Baptist Church here with the Rev. Ed Brock officiating. Burial was in Mt. Sinai Cemetery under direction of Cantrell.
