Frieda Ella Fritz-Pyle, 87, Somerset RD 3, died March 26, 1989, in theChurch of the Brethren Home, Windber. Born Feb. 28, 1902, in StoneycreekTownship, daughter of Samuel and Lucinda (Watkins) Bent. Preceded in deathby first husband, Benson H. Fritz, and second husband, Elmer Pyle; twostep-daughters, one step-son; also a brother, Weller Bent; a sister, RhodaYoder; and a half sister, Hazel Grundy. Survived by these children: Ernest C. and Robert D. Fritz, both of Somerset RD 3; Mrs. John (Fay)Gary, Apopka, Fla.; step-children, Mrs. Paul (Luella) Friedline and RayPyle, both of Clearwater, Fla.; and Jay Pyle, Somerset RD 6; 13grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, and a numberof step-great-grandchildren. Member of St. John's United Methodist Church,Edie, and Sipesville Senior Citizens. Friends received 7-9 p.m. Monday, and2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service willbe conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m., the Rev. Donald E. Krestarofficiating. Interment, Walker Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St.John's United Methodist Church.
