Fredonna L. (Lemert) Clouse

71, Lapel, passed away Jan. 24, 2006, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville following an extended illness.

She was born Sept. 15, 1934, in Plymouth, Ind., the daughter of Bryan and Lavina (Trump) Lemert.

She graduated in 1952 from Lapaz High School and enjoyed attending her 50th class reunion.

She served the Town of Lapel as clerk/treasurer for 16 years and prior to that, she worked at the Madison County Courthouse.

She was a member of the Lapel American Legion Auxiliary for 27 years.

She is survived by three children, Steve (wife, Mary Jane) Clouse of Lapel, Dick (wife, Donna Kay) Clouse of Lapel, and Sandra Miller of Anderson; six grandchildren, Michelle Hobbs, Matthew Clouse, Melissa Bannon, Mike Clouse, Chris Rangel, and Jessica Rangel; seven great-grandchildren; and special friends, Joyce and Don Helterbrand.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Wayne Clouse, in 1999; and a grandson, Jason Faust, in 1996.

Private graveside services and burial will be held at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.

There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lapel American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 789, Lapel, IN?46051-0789.
