Frederick Horton was born in 1877 at Great Wymondley in Hertfordshire, son of a straw plaiter named Hannah Horton, formerly Moles, and her husband Frederick Horton, an agricultural labourer. Frederick appears in the 1881 census with his parents and siblings at Great Wymondley. He has yet to be researched after 1881.
