His Father's Will

1811, June 1. Fritz, Fredrick*, of Lebanon, Hunterdon Co.; will of. Wife, Cornelia, to have % of money and moveable estate (except farming and carpenter tools). The other Vs to children, 4 sons and 2 daughters. Farm whereon I live (except 40 acres), to my youngest son, Morris Fritz, upon condition that my wife have a home and maintenance there during life; but if she choose to live with an- other of my children, then he is to pay for her maintenance. The 40-acre lot to son, George; also £20 to be paid by Morris; also the note for £50 which he gave me. Oldest son, William, £150, to be paid by Morris. Daughter, Catherine Abel, or her heirs, sufficient money to make up £100 (part of which is in bond to son-in-law, Matthias Auble). Having advanced, son, Fredrick, £250, he is to keep £150 thereof and pay £100 to estate. My son-in-law, Abraham Lungen, having given me a note which now overruns the sum in- tended for my daughter, Elizabeth (his wife). Executors to return said note as their full portion. Money received from Mr. William Coxe (at present in hands of 4 sons), to be divided between children equally (except Morris). Executors — two eldest sons, William and Fredrick.
