    Mrs. Fredricka Young
The death of Mrs. Fredricka Young, 74, occurred last evening at seven-thirty oclock at her residence, 522 Washington street, after an illness lasting more than five months during which time she suffered considerably with diabetis. In the past few days her condition however, had not seemed as critical and her death came last evening, quickly and unexpectedly. Funeral rites are to be held Friday afternoon at the St. Matthews church at two thirty o'clock. Rev. Sinning will have services in his charge and burial will be made in Falls cemetery.

Born in Germany to John and Elizabeth Meidreich Hipskind, October 24, 1852, Fredricka Susana Hipskind came to this country with her parents when a very small girl. The family settled in Wabash upon their arrival. The marriage of Fredricka Young to Michael Young took place on March 15, 1873 and to this union were born eight children. They are: Adam Young of Wabash, Mrs. Mary Strickler of Wabash, Henry of Mishawauka, Joe of Chicago, Fred of Indianapolis, Theodore of Wabash, Mrs. Earl Snavely of Wabash and August Young of Wabash. There are also ten grandchildren surviving, three brothers, John, Henry and Theodore of Wabash, and one sister, Mrs. Pete Hipskind.
