Note: Elizabeth came to the United States with her husband and 4 children in 1854, settling in Wabash. It appears her brothers and sister joined her in the United States. Her obituary in the Wabash paper dated March 18, 1895, stated all of her children came to the funeral "and all of her brothers and sisters except Mr. Henry Miedreich, of Evansville, and Mrs. Emmerl, of Portland, Oregon." At that time, she had 54 grand children and seven great-grandchildren.

A note by "White Creek" - Rockenhausen is one of the few larger towns near the tiny villages, from where many of the Tuscarawas County, Ohio, and Urbana, Indiana pioneers migrated.
