Funeral services for Fred Watson, age 85, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 19, at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with Rev. Robert Storrs officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. He passed away Friday, April 16, 2004, in Lubbock.

Mr. Watson was born April 28, 1918, in Jena, La. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He married Imogene White on April 16, 1949. He retired from Ben E. Keith after 30 years. He was a Christian.

Survivors include his wife, Imogene of Lubbock; two daughters, Letha Watson of Lubbock, and Fredia Mendick and husband Mike of Phoenix; two sons, Lewis Watson and wife Frances of Lubbock, and George Watson of Lubbock; one brother, Amos Watson of Lake Charles, La.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Resthaven.
