    Fred G. Knot, age 78, of 2521 Monroe St., passed away in a local hospital Saturday, August 1. Mr. Knott had resided in this community for the past 40 years and was a retired machinist. Surviving relatives include the widow, Mrs. Lena Knott at the family home; four sons, Clarence F. of Port Angeles, Harley of Pt. Townsend, Arthur L. of Blaine, and Ralph of Renton; three daughters, Mrs Mable Astel of Seattle, Mrs. Dorothy Perry and Mrs Laura Phelps of Bellingham; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. The remains rest at the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where services will be conducted by the Rev. C. C. Hovda Tuesday, August 4 at 1:00 p.m. Final resting place, Greenacres Memorial Park.
