Have seen his name as both Fraser Phillips and Henderson Frazier Phillips; not sure which is correct.

South St. Paul Reporter, 9 March 1893: "H. Phillips, the weighmaster at Wentworth avenue, has moved his family to South Park." Henderson Phillips and his wife, Mary 'Molly' Curry Phillips came to So. St. Paul from Coles Co., IL around 1888 and were charter members of Clark Memorial Church. Henderson belonged to several fraternal societies, including the I.O.O.F., of which C. W. Clark was also a member.

SSP Daily Reporter dated 31 Aug. 1925; "Henderson Phillips, former South Park Resident Passes Away. Henderson Phillips, 68 years of age, died at his home at Foxhome, Minn., Saturday, August 29, after a lingering illness. Mr. Phillips was formerly a resident of South Park where he was in the employ of the Great Western Railway Co. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Jessie C. Phillips, two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Klaers of Modesto, Calif. and Mrs. Lola Yaeger of St. Paul, and two sons, Elmer of St. Paul and Robert of Jamestown, ND. Funeral services will be held Wed., Sept. 2 at 2:30 o'clock from the Dampier Baird chapel, 288 W. Fifth St., St. Paul. Interment will be made in the Union Cemetery. Mr. Phillips was a member of Unity Camp, No. 1561M.W.A."

Per the Illinois Statewide Marriage Index 1763-1900, he was listed as Henderson F. Phillips.

Death certificate gave birth date, father's name and birthplace and mother's given name and birthplace. Also gave the info. about place of burial and date.

The 1870 Moultrie Co., IL census shows him as Frazier.
