"Family information is found on page 860 (#3) of the Hardheim Familienbuch II.

"Baptism entry - Born at 3AM on May 14 1824 and baptized at 8:30AM; Godfather was Valtin Kettemann, day laborer. Witnesses were Andreas Bundschuh and Josef Sauer (#29 for 1824, p84).

"Hardheim marriage entry - Franz and Paulina obtained marriage certificate #3048 from the Walldurn district office on Feb 10 1854. Marriage banns were announced in the local parish church on Feb 12 and Feb 19 1854. Married on Feb 28 1854; witnesses were Wendelin Hallbaur and Valtin Schretzmann (#6 for 1854, p24).

"Hardheim marriage entry - Franz and Charlotte obtained marriage certificate #4060 from the Walldurn district office on May 2 1860. Marriage banns were announced on May 15 and May 22 1860. Married on May 25 1860; witnesses were Tabius Hallbaur and Karl Pfeiffer (#14 for 1860, p68).

"Burial in the local churchyard on Aug 28 1874 was witnessed by his brother, Josef Valtin Schretzmann, and Cornel Fieger; age 50 at time of death (#27 for 1874, p19).

"Tailor (schneider). His daughter, Anna, never married. She was the governess of Kaiser Wilhelm's children. "
