    Enlisted in Co G 55th GA Vol Inf. He was a Private then promoted as Regimental Hospital Steward, then Assistant Surgeon. He was captured at Cumberland Gap, TN in Sept 1863. He was released and was with his regiment in Oct 1864. Date of discharge is unknown.
