Death certificate (#24907) states he was an electrical engineer at the Owatonna Power Plant in Owatonna, MN at the time of this death. An article in the Aug. 1, 1938 issue of the So. St. Paul Reporter says he and his wife had come to So. St. Paul that day to atten the Clark Memorial Men's Club picnic at Kaposia Park where he succumbed to a heart attach at 4:30 p.m. The So. St. Paul ambulance was called and he was taken to West Side General Hospital on St. Paul's west side where he was pronounced dead. His body was removed to Owatonna for services and returned to So. St. Paul for burial.

Informant on the death certificate was his wife, Phleta Curry Snyder.
