According to brother Henry's notes:

Frank was born in a small shack near a railroad track on Evergreen Street, Rochester. A short while later the family moved to a home on Scrantom Street. About that time Frank developed a tape worm. Heavy doses of a strong medication for this disease were thought to be a contributing factor to an impairment of Frank's learning ability.

As a consequence, Frank could only attend vocational school. He married Magdelene Isaac and she bore him one son.

After Madeline's death in 1951, he moved to the Albany, New York area.
