Rome Daily Sentinel, 11 July 1935: MOTHER IS INJURED IN ATTEMPT TO RESCUE SON Mrs. John A. Busek and son, Frank, 4, 1002 W Dominick ST, were removed to the Rome Hospital Wednesday evening suffering cuts and bruises suffered when they were struck by an automobile in front of 1005 W Dominick ST. Harry Sullivan, Taberg, driver of the car, told police he was driving by when the child ran from behind a parked car closely followed by his mother, who attempted to snatch the child from in front of his machine. Both were struck and knocked down. Both were taken ... to a doctor and later to the hospital.
