!EDUCATION: He could sign his name, as on his daughter Marie's baptismal record at Grand Pré in 1739 (SGA-3, 1b), and her burial record in 1744 (SGA-3, 27a).

In 1752 he was at Ile Saint-Jean. Deported to Boston, he settled at Saint-Jacques-de-l'Achigan, where he was buried on 20 Aug 1790.
