He was a "habt-laboureur, resided at Cobeguit. He married around 1708 (Belle-Ile-en-Mer Declaration) Louise AUCOIN, daughter of Martin & Marie GAUDET; nine children. He was on the 1752 (LaRoque) census, age 74 years. He is on list of arrivals at St-Malo in 1759, age 80 years. He died (St-Malo Register & St-Servan Arch) at the Hospital of St-Malo on 3 Feb 1759, age 80 or 82 years.

He died at St. Malo, France on 3 Feb 1759, [He is not listed in his father's entry on p. 1170.]

!PARENTS: PAF backup sent by Gerald CARPENTER in Dec 1995 has Henry Francois GAUTREAUX, born abt 1678 at Port Royal, son of Francois & Marie S. BRUN, married to Louise AUCOIN abt 1706. He died at St. Malo, Ille et Vilaine, France on 3 Feb 1759.

Francois GAUTROT (no parents given), born about 1677, a ploughman, married about 1706 to Louise AUCOIN; two children listed. In 1752 he and his wife and Marie-Madeleine GAUTROT their daughter were residents of Ance-a-Pinnet on Isle St. Jean. On 23 Jan 1759 Francois disembarked with Francoise DAIGLE, his daughter-in-law, at St. Malo from one of the "Five ships."

!MARRIAGE: Arsenault, H&G, p. 1087 (Grand Pré), "of Cobequid." Not on 1686 census with parents, died young? Not listed in Arsenault, either. Where did I find a listing of this son? Parents were married around 1684, he is first in my list. Arsenault's firstborn is Marie, 1686.
