On Monday, January 31, 1977, FRANCIS D. of Severn, Md., formerly of Ellicott City, Md., beloved husband of the late Julia Guelta Smith and beloved father of Julia H. Smith, Sister M. Maritia S.S.N.D., Dorothy L. Feaga, Regina E. Clas, Francis E., Albert M. and W. Kevin Smith and Leo B. Smith, Lieut. Cmdr. U.S.N., beloved uncle of William M. Donahue. Survived by 31 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also survived by one brother and five sisters.

Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Odenton, Md., on Wednesday, February 2, 1977 at 10 A.M. Friends may call at the Hardesty Funeral Home, Route 175 at Claffy drive, Gambrills, Md., Tuesday, February 1 from 2 to 9 P.M., where Christian Wake Service will be held at 8:30 P.M. Interment in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
