I, FRANCIS RICHARDSON, of New York, merchant, calling to mind the certainty of death, do make this my will. I leave to my wife Rebecca all that my 400 acre lot of land in the township of Crittenham, Pennsylvania, and 1/3 of all my estate, real and personal, and the other 2/3 to my three children, Francis, Rebecca, and John, when of age. I make my wife executor, and my beloved friends, William Richardson, Arthur Cook, and John Delavall, assistants. "I have set my hand in New York the 7th day of the 5th month called July, anno 1688."
