Francis married Luella E. Brockschmidt. Francis died in 1950 in an automobile accident. Later Luella remarried Carl (ED) Chafin who was born in 1927 Francis and Luella had 3 children (Thomas, William, and Kathleen) that were later legally adopted by Ed Chafin.(thus the decendents from this line will be named Chafin..though by blood line they are Lehmann).
